Patricia Glaab is a self-taught artist based in Hampton, VA. She is a painter, illustrator, ceramic artist, and author. She previously sold her work through galleries in Virginia, including the Blue Skies Gallery in Hampton, the Gallery at York Hall in Yorktown, and the Marina Gallery in Wachapreague. She is currently focused on creating her second children’s book in the Miss Pitty Pat series, which is based on bedtime stories created by her mother.

She is a professional musician who plays baritone ukulele and sings solo and as part of a duo, performing at assisted living communities, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes as a member of ArtsConnect — an organization dedicated to bringing joy to older adults and individuals in isolating circumstances.

Patricia is also a career aerospace engineer of 36 years working at the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. Her work assignments have spanned fighter aircraft, small drones, commercial transport aircraft, and rockets. She currently supervises a branch of advanced aircraft designers.
